Market / Product / Broker Permissions

Assigned Market Permissions (including Product and Broker permissions) determine the available products that can be traded by an account and / or designated broker(s).

Permissions are organized in three sections:

Step 2: Market Type Permissions:

Select Market Types, for which an account can submit orders.

Available Market Types and products are constrained by overall clearing firm entitlements and the selected Service(s) / Platform. Selected Services / Platforms can be managed from this page; including removal.

  • Specify Market Permissions:

After confirming Account Settings and Services, select Market Types and Access.

Available options:

  • None: Submitting orders for this Market Type, including all Products, is restricted.
  • Specific: Requires selection of individual product permissions.
  • All: Enable order submission for this market type and all products.

Note: Specific and All, requires credit and maximum long / short quantity limits; configured with the Credit Controls function.

Step 3: Product Permissions:

Individual product availability and ability to trade, may require selection of specific products and specification of long / short quantity limits.

  • Set Product Permissions:

On the Product Permissions page, select from Available Products, then add at least one product.

  • Add:  / Add All:
  • Remove: / Remove All:

To find a specific product, enter the symbol or name in the search field; partial entries are accepted.

Step 4: Broker Permissions:

Specify brokers authorized to operate this account.

  • To specify Broker Permissions:
  1. Confirm product selections, then select Step 4: Broker Permissions.
  2. Select Brokers from Broker Permissions page - Available Brokers pane.

  • Add:  / Add All:
  • Remove: / Remove All:
  1. To find a specific broker, enter the name in the search field; partial entries are accepted.
  2. To proceed with account setup, select Step 5: Credit Controls.
