• Amendment to NYMEX and COMEX Product Titles

    • Please be advised that, during the week of October 15, 2012, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX) and the Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX, and collectively, the Exchanges) will amend their product titles in order to, among other administrative things, remove the word "swap" from the titles of the Exchanges' futures and option contracts. It is important to note that the title changes are administrative in nature and will, in no manner, impact the structure of the contracts.
       
      The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will be notified of the NYMEX and COMEX chapter title amendments during the week of October 22, 2012, via the weekly notification procedures set forth in Part 40 of the CFTC Regulations.
