Hurricane Settlements & Activations

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, coverage was suspended by the National Hurricane Center for Tropical Storm Nicole the fourteenth named storm of the season.

Trading in HG2, G2B, HS2 and S22 will terminate at 9:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) on Wednesday, October 6, 2010.

The final settlement values are as follows:

• 0.0 for HG4 (for CME Hurricane Index futures & options on Hurricane Nicole)
• 0.0 for G4B (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Nicole)
• 0.0 for HS4 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures & options on Hurricane Nicole)
• 0.0 for S42 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box Binary Contract on Hurricane Nicole)

At this time, there is no open interest in any of the futures or options for HG4, G4B, HS4 or S42.

In addition, the next contract in all four sequences should be listed for trading on Wednesday, October 6, 2010:

• HG7 (for CME Hurricane Index futures & options on Hurricane Richard)
• G7B (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Richard)
