Please note that with the 2025 calendar year the CME Group will be providing downloadable holiday calendars for Globex and incorporating with Regular Trading hours into one location. 2025 CME Globex Freeze Calendar
- During a Freeze weekend, there is no customer testing allowed.
- New iLink session IDs can be built and deleted on the Friday before the freeze weekend.
- Details regarding Saturday testing are available in section 7 Saturday Testing of the iLink Session ID Policy and Operational Guidelines.
- No customer testing is available on Reliability Engineering and Operations (REO) weekends.
- No customer testing is available on Web Data Reliability Engineering and Operations (WDREO) weekends.

2025 CME Globex Messaging Efficiency Program Holiday Calendar
Due to various U.S. Holidays, CME Globex Messaging Efficiency Program Ratios for all Product Groups included in the Program will not be calculated for the trade dates listed below.
Please note the Excessive Messaging Threshold (EMT) and Mass Quoting (MQ) are part of the Messaging Efficiency Program but do not recognize the MEP holiday calendar.
For example-
- Presidents’ Day is recognized within the MEP holiday calendar on Friday, Sunday and Monday.
- Within EMT & MQ, Presidents’ Day would not be recognized as a holiday.
- Friday would be a normal EMT & MQ calculation. MQ is calculated during Regular Trading Hours (RTH) only.
- Sunday restart until the early halt on Monday, would be another EMT calculation. MQ is calculated during Regular Trading Hours (RTH) only.
- Monday night restart through the close on Tuesday, would be yet another EMT calculation. MQ is calculated during Regular Trading Hours (RTH) only.
