Risk Awards 2024 – CME Group was named Clearing House of the Year by Risk Magazine due in part to how our margin models achieved strong coverage in times of market volatility. We were also recognized for our move to the new SPAN 2 margin platform for our energy products and the key role we played in helping the market transition away from LIBOR.

FTF Awards  – TriOptima won Best Buy-Side Collateral Management Solution – TriOptima was recognized by FTF for the second year running as the Best Buyside Collateral Management Solution as well as Service Provider of the Year. FOW International Awards 2020  – TriOptima won Collateral Management Solution of the Year. The award recognizes the breadth of coverage of the TriOptima collateral management solution, encompassing portfolio reconciliation and initial margin analytics in addition to collateral management.

FX Markets Asia Awards 2020 – TriOptima was recognized for the Best Post-trade Tools and Infrastructure and Innovation for the FX Market.

Most Valuable Exchange Brand 2020  – CME Group remains the most valuable brand among the world’s leading exchanges for the seventh year in a row, improving its brand value by 10 percent to $2.1 billion, according to the latest report by Brand Finance.

Regulation Asia 2020 – TriOptima won Best Solution – Initial Margin Compliance for its comprehensive solutions providing full support for all aspects of initial margin compliance for financial institutions of any size or class. 

Risk Awards 2019 – CME Group was named Exchange of the Year for the second consecutive year, and was also recognized for Clearing House of the Year and Exchange Innovation of the Year.

FOW International Awards – CME Group won in four categories at the FOW International Awards: Global Exchange of the Year, Americas Exchange of the Year, Best New Interest Rates Contract and Proprietary Traders' Exchange of the Year. CME Group Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy was also named CEO of the Year.

FX Week’s Best Broker for Spot FX – EBS won the Best Broker for Spot FX category at the 2018 FX Week Best Banks Awards.

Chartis RiskTech100 list – TriOptima was placed on this prestigious list for the first time. 

The Trade’s 2018 Leaders in Trading Awards – NEX Regulatory Reporting won Best Compliance Technology.

Risk Magazine’s Market Technology Awards – NEX Regulatory Reporting won Best Regulatory Reporting Product of the Year.

WatersTechnology Buy Side Technology Awards – triResolve Margin and triCalculate were recognized as the best buy-side technology solutions for collateral management and pricing/valuation, while TriOptima was also named the best overall buy-side technology provider.

Global Investor Group International Exchange of the Year for Asia – CME Group was recognized for a number of relevant and innovative products launched in the Asian-Pacific market, including Australian Wheat FOB (Platts) futures, Japanese Yen-denominated TOPIX futures, as well as the listing of the first-ever U.S. index futures on the S&P500 and DJIA in Taiwan with TAIFEX.

Risk Exchange of the Year – CME Group was recognized by Risk Magazine as Exchange of the Year at the 2018 Risk Awards for our approach to including clients in discussions around risk management, product design and price discovery. Equally noteworthy were the successful launches of several new products including Wednesday Weekly Treasury Options which offer greater precision for trading and hedging mid-week during major events. 

FOW Exchange of the Year/Trade Repository of the Year – FOW's judges highlighted the record levels of open interest in 2017 across CME Group’s markets as well as the performance of global benchmarks such as WTI, which hit an average daily volume of 1.5 million contracts during the judging period.  We were also recognized for the return of Russell 2000 futures with 91% of open interest switching to the market since the July 2017 launch.

Global Capital Exchange of the Year/Clearing House of the Year – CME Group’s “exchange and clearing combo” was recognized by Global Capital for creating efficiencies through the trade lifecycle, focusing on innovation and launching new products and services.

World’s Most Valuable Exchange Brand – For the third year in a row, CME Group was named Most Valuable Exchange Brand by Brand Finance, a London-based consultancy, with a brand value estimated to be $1.3 billion. 

Markets Choice Best Global Exchange Group – CME Group was recognized by Markets Media as the best global exchange group in 2017.

Evening Standard Business Award for Deal of the Year – CME Group was recognized by leading UK newspaper The Evening Standard for our planned acquisition of NEX Group, plc. in 2018, which will deliver operational efficiencies across cash, repo and futures products in U.S. Treasuries and FX, as well as benefit market participants seeking to lower trading costs and manage risk more effectively.

E-FX Initiative of the Year and Best E-Derivatives Platform – CME Group was voted the winner of two categories at the 2018 FX Week e-FX Awards. The wins followed 18 months of launches and product releases, culminating in CME FX Link going live in March.
