Global Diversity and Inclusion

As the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, we embrace the exchange of ideas driven by the rich diversity of our people, cultures and experiences. We know that when our employees bring their authentic selves to work each day, it makes our business and our culture that much stronger. Leveraging the collective mix of perspectives and insights that our individual backgrounds bring, we can continually provide our global clients with innovative products and solutions, strengthen our business and best serve the communities in which we live and work.

As we extend our global reach, our goal is to continue to make our individual differences work for the good of our company, employees, customers, shareholders and communities. Embracing our differences enables us to become more innovative, and customer-focused across everything we do.

Our global initiatives include:

  • Sponsoring an internal, cross-functional Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Council responsible for driving our corporate D&I strategy and ensuring we have the right resources in place to support and grow our diverse employee population. Members of our Management Team serve on the Council in addition to employees from across the organization representing a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Offering a diverse variety of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to promote shared professional and personal interests within our employee community. Learn more about our ERGs and the important role they play in enhancing our employee experience.
  • Offering a flexible work model and family-friendly programs to accommodate the diverse needs of our employees.
  • Sponsoring scholarship and internship programs that help prepare students from low-income and historically underserved communities for college and careers in the financial services industry.
  • Signing the Corporate Equality Act, the CEO Pledge for Diversity and Inclusion and a petition for marriage equality in Northern Ireland.

We are proud of our diverse workforce that spans the world. Our employees speak more than 40 languages and serve our customers’ risk management needs across more than 150 countries.

At CME Group, we embrace our employees' diverse experiences, cultures and skills, and work to ensure that everyone’s perspectives are acknowledged and valued.
