Globex Trading Hours and Holiday Schedules

Please note that with the 2025 calendar year the CME Group will be providing downloadable holiday calendars for Globex and incorporating with Regular Trading hours into one location. To view the trading hours for a specific holiday please select the appropriate date in the “DATE” field and the data will automatically update in the table below the date field. You can then filter for the various products that you need to view. To view the trading hours for the next upcoming holiday you can click on the “View trading hours for (holiday name)” link that appears to the right of the date field.

PREOPEN

Order Entry, modification, and cancel are allowed. No order matching.

OPEN

Start of continuous trading phase. Order matching begins.

Paused

Interruption of continuous trading. Only order cancellation is allowed. No order matching.

pcp (POST CLOSE - PREOPEN)

Allows GTC/GTD orders only placement, modification, and cancellation. No order matching.

closed

Final Close of the date. Day and GTD (current trade date) orders are eliminated.

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Tuesday, December 31st are for trade date Thursday, January 2nd, and can continue working until their Thursday, Janurary 2nd, Globex close.
  • December 31st TAS: Regular close per each product scheduleTuesday,

2025 Martin Luther King Day

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Sunday, January 19th, are for trade date Tuesday, January 21st and can continue working until their Tuesday, January 21st Globex close.
  • January 17th, TAM, TAM (Platts) & TAS: Regular close per each product schedule.

2025 Presidents' Day

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Sunday, February 16th are for trade date Tuesday, February 18th and can continue working until their Tuesday, February 18th Globex close.
  • February 14th, TAM, TAM (Platts) & TAS: Regular close per each product schedule.

2025 Good Friday

  • Thursday April 17th all markets have a regular close.
  • No trading for Friday, April 18th trade date in observance of Good Friday.

2025 Memorial Day

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Sunday, May 25th are for trade date Tuesday, May 27th and can continue working until their Tuesday, May 27th Globex close.
  • May 23th, TAM, TAM (Platts) & TAS: Regular close per each product schedule.

2025 Juneteenth

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Wednesday, June 18th are for trade date Friday, June 20th and can continue working until their Friday, June 20th Globex close.
  • June 18th, TAM, TAM (Platts) & TAS: Regular close per each product schedule.

2025 Independence Day

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Wednesday, July 2nd are for trade date Thursday, July 3rd and can continue working until their Thursday, July 3rd Globex close.
  • July 3rd Early close TAS Grain, Oilseed & Livestock at 12:00 CT.
  • July 3rd, TAM, TAM (Platts) & TAS: Regular close per each product schedule.

2025 Labor Day

  • Day orders entered after a product’s Pre-opening(s) on Sunday, August 31st are for trade date Tuesday, September 2nd and can continue working until their Tuesday, September 2nd Globex close.

2025 Thanksgiving
