Visiting CME Group

Come take a look at the histories of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) in Chicago, the city’s two most important exchanges, and the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), now merged to form a single entity, CME Group.

Two Visitor Centers to Enjoy in Chicago

The Visitor Centers in Chicago are just a short walk from one another in the downtown area. Although the viewing galleries overlooking the trading floors are limited to academic and industry-related groups, all are encouraged to visit the lobby-level Visitor Centers at both CME Group Chicago locations.

Public Transportation

If you are traveling from the suburbs, check out the Metra train schedules at www.metrarail.com. Stations are located within walking distance. Contact the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) at 312-836-7000 for trip planning, schedule and fare information for CTA, Metra and Pace rapid transit systems.
