The Global Client Development and Research Division is focused on growing and serving our global client base through sales, product marketing, research and product development, economic research, and data science. The division also leads the company’s digitization initiatives and Innovation Lab.

CME Clearing ensures the safety and soundness of our markets by providing industry-leading risk management services to market participants around the world. It stands as seller to every buyer and buyer to every seller, guaranteeing the performance of each trade.

The Executive Division, which includes the Office of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, works to execute the company’s overall business strategy and provide strategic direction to division leaders across all business units. The division also includes the Government Relations Department, which is responsible for advancing the company’s legislative, regulatory and political priorities.

The Finance and Corporate Development Division works to increase shareholder value through financial reporting, revenue and expense analysis, tax planning, capital structure management, strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and detailed examination of other investment opportunities.

The Global Brand Marketing and Communications Division is responsible for promoting CME Group to internal and external audiences. The division supports the CME Group brand and works to enhance our corporate reputation with shareholders, investors, opinion leaders and the media. 

The Global Operations Division provides a premier electronic and physical marketplace by ensuring the operational and procedural integrity of our markets through proactive monitoring on all venues, including Globex, ClearPort, CME Direct and the trading floor. The group is also responsible for the company data centers, business continuity and the physical safety and security of all CME Group facilities.

The Human Resources Division creates shareholder value by acquiring, retaining and leveraging top talent and providing competitive benefits and compensation offerings. Human Resources also works with internal partners to align key talent management processes and programs with business needs.

The Legal and Regulatory Division ensures CME Group’s legal and regulatory compliance, supervises internal controls, implements risk management capabilities and provides member and shareholder services.

The Products and Services Division is responsible for delivering CME Group’s business line revenue by leading the management and long-term strategic vision for each asset class, with a focus on growing volume, innovating new products and serving customers worldwide.

The Transformation and Execution Division is responsible for overseeing the company’s migration process as part of its 10-year partnership with Google Cloud to transform global derivatives markets. The group also ensures that we have robust and comprehensive plans and execution capabilities to achieve our strategic goals and objectives across all areas of our business.
